Information Required for Registering a Japanese Company

Company Name:

① Duplicate names are allowed, and names can be in Chinese, Japanese or English.

② Words such as "international," "group," "holding," "industrial," "investment," "academy," "association," "center," and "research institute" are permitted in the company name, but there must be specific business and operations.

③ Bank, trust, life insurance, and extremely rare Chinese characters are prohibited.

Registered Capital:

① There is no limit, even 1 Japanese yen is acceptable (operating companies provide capital verification of up to 1 million yen; shell companies provide capital verification of up to 3 million yen).

② The size of the capital reflects the strength of the company, and it is recommended to start with at least 1 million yen.

③ To apply for a business manager visa, the registered capital must be more than 5 million.

Management Distribution:

① Shell companies do not require a Japanese legal representative; operating companies require a Japanese legal representative to guarantee the account opening.

② Directors need to have their personal seal notarized (two copies).

③ Shareholders alone do not need to be notarized.

Registered Address:

① Operating companies can provide an Osaka address.

② For a separate rental address, the customer needs to provide the intended geographic location, size, and rent budget.
